Creativity Explored: Your Creative Side Doesn't Have to Stay in the Office

In an ever-evolving business world, innovation depends on one essential ingredient: creativity. But creativity isn’t a one-time spark—it’s a process that thrives through consistent, intentional practice. That’s where creative outlets come in. Whether through writing, design, or other medium, professionals need space to explore ideas, challenge assumptions, and bring fresh thinking to the table.
I believe that cultivating creative expression isn’t just personally enriching—it’s professionally essential. For entrepreneurs, marketers, and brand leaders, creative outlets serve as the foundation for standout content, compelling campaigns, and authentic connection. They help unlock new solutions, elevate brand storytelling, and humanize messaging in a noisy market.
When creativity is explored in meaningful ways, teams become more adaptable, engaged, and innovative. It’s not about adding more to your plate—it’s about making space for the kind of thinking that nurtures growth.

creativity explored

When my first child was born, I took time off from the corporate world to focus on family. I loved being a new mom, but coming from a busy marketing career, I quickly found I needed a creative outlet. So I looked for opportunities to learn something new.
I began working with metal and eventually offered my jewelry designs to family and friends. This was the foundation for  silverearthdesigns.com and launching an Etsy shop.
Over the years, my desire to further explore creativity eventually led me to publish my first book in 2024 – which I’m thrilled to announce picked up four book awards. In fact, I had so much fun in that endeavor that I ended up writing another book… and another…
Who knows what’s next? But one thing is for sure: creativity explored yields a life that is never boring. Here’s a peek at some of my creative projects:
